Major Job Responsibility:

-          Working with a variety of patients in all specialties

-          assessing and planning nursing care requirements

-          Administering IM medications and IV infusions

-          Running immunization clinics

-          Dressing of wounds and lacerations

-          Assisting doctors during procedures

-          Assembling dressing packs and supervising the sterilization process

-          Ensuring that the emergency tray is properly stocked and easily accessible at all times

-          taking patients vital signs: pulses, temperatures and blood pressures

-          providing emotional support to patients and relatives

-          Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.

Qualifications required (Compulsory):

ü  At least a post Basic Nursing certificate.

Other Certifications (Nice to have but not compulsory):

ü  Basic Life Support skills

ü  Family planning Certificates

Skills:

ü  Basic Computer skills

ü  Broad Clinical knowledge

ü  Good Communication and interpersonal skills

Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years clinical work experience (post-qualification)
